Agenda

The use of 3D printing technology has gained more and more traction in industrial applications. This is also the case for sand core manufacturing, with binder jetting being the most popular technology for this application. There are multiple binder systems for use in additive manufacturing differing in terms of applicable casting temperature and core requirements like strength, environmental aspects, and ease of application.

Our webinar will give a quick technological overview of the printing technology with its implications on binder development and its properties. Our expert Dr. Dominik Polsakiewicz explains various binder systems developed at ASK Chemicals. He highlights all challenges and advantages for each binder system and recommends some guidelines for binder selection.

Who should attend the webinar?

  • Product development engineers
  • Technology managers
  • Core shop managers
  • Research and Development
  • Anyone with casting background and interest in additive manufacturing
